1. Which is wiser? a pen or a pencil?
I think a pencil is wiser because with a pancil you can earase the mistakes you make. Everyone makes mistakes, so when you use a pen you can't go back and fix them. You hav two options when you make a mistake with a pen. (1) Scratch it out and keep writing: This makes the paper looks sloppy and unprofessional. (2) Start all over: This isn't time efficient and it's definately not fun to do. Also, while re-writing, there is no garuntee your not ging to make another mistake.

2. Which is easier to forgive? a street or a sidewalk?
Sidewalks are easier to forgive for several reasons. For example, one of the things I do on sidewalks is trip over the cracks and uneven cement slabs (for lack of a better word). When this happens, I get mad and blame myself for tripping. Since I wasn't paying attention it was my fault not the sidewalks. Streets are harder to forgive. Poeple drive cars on the road and not everyone should be able to drive. Crashes, speed bumps, pot-holes, and sharing the road with pedestrians. Sidewalks rarely get over couded and crazy. Every now and then you'll run into a jogger or a couple with their new born baby. Maybe you'll even run into someone walking their dog or a group of kids playing tag. The point is, sidewalks are not a main form of transportation because faster vehicles won't fit on them. However, streets are our main paths of transportation. When your dealing with other people, no matter what the sircumstancesare, they always need to find a scapegoat. In other words, people look for other people to blame something on them. (Ex:) Two people get int a crash. Even though Driver A was at fault, he jumps out of his car and begins yelling at Driver B, claiming he (Driver B) was at fault.

3. Which is smarter? a clock or a calendar? (the following argument is based on digital appliences)
A calender is smarter than a clock because it is able to do more than a clock. A clock uses a series of 'cogs', among other parts, to move three 'levers'. Calenders have a clock within them. They can record and save data pertaing to a specific event. Calendars are capable of looking weeks, months, and sometimes years into the future. They remember your events and sometimes display them in different formats (Ex: list, day, week, month, etc.). Calendars also have the ability to alert you of certain events at certain intervals of your choosing (Ex: 1 hour, 2 hours, 5 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 1 week, etc. {prior to event}).

4. Which is easier to teach? a question or an answer?
Questions are easier to teach. Everyone is born with a natural sense of curiousity, no matter how dominant. People naturally question aspects of their life, aspects of others lives, and so on. Children question everything because they are to young and naive to understand most of what goes on around them. Teenagers question their parents authority. Parents question the way the raised their children, and what lies ahead. Athletes question their skill level and abilities. In a way, questions show our insecurities and our weaknesses. Answers come from those willing to learn and except information without bias. Learning an answer involves knowing and understanding a topic. It involves a level of familiarity that not all may have. When people are born with a special ability, it's easier to build upon those skills rather than to create new ones.
{Make A Point: (I realize and understand we must pick one side and argue our point but while typing my answer I realize there was another side to my arguement) Because questions come naturally to us, we don't need to be taught how to question topics exposed to us. Answers are taught because we must learn about the topic to give an answer.}

5. Which is like a contest? a cloud or a sunset?
When I think of contests I think of competing, specifically race. A sunset is a contest because it 'competes' more than a cloud does. A sunset must 'compete' with time. Sunsets must 'fight' to acomplish their goal. Clouds simply appear and move acording to the wind. Sunsets 'race' to cross the finish line (horizon).

6. Which is more fearful? new or old?
I think new is feared more often, even if people don't admit it. The old is old and will forever remain in the past. No matter how much someone wants to change or redo something in their past, they will never have the chance. It's in the past, gone, done, finished, unchangable. People understand and except this because it is inevitable. However, the new, uncertain future grows closer everyday. High school students fear about college. Parents worry about paying bills on time and making sure they can maintain the position they hold at work. Little chilren are afraid when they accidently break something and hope they won't get caught. When you don't know what could happen, you realize what did happen isn't as important. People who linger in the past will never be able to move forward and make a better future for themselves.

7. Which is like a promise? mathmatics or science?
To me a promise is like a garuntee, an absolute fact that won't change, no matter what the cercumstances. Many aspects of science are left to theories, assumptions, and guesses, however "educated" they may be. Science is based on sytudies and the collection of data and statistics, some are left to probability. Mathmatics on the other hand is very dependable and solid. When dealing

8. Which is more difficult? a dream or a nightmare?
I think dreams are more difficult because dreams, especially mine are a type of twisted reality. That means if I like a guy in one of my dreams, I start thinking that maybe I like him in real life. My point is that nightmares are usually just to sca. You have them, you get over them, end of story. Dreams are a way of showing you a new point of veiw. The ideas are already in your head, you just don't know it yet. Dreams have a way of revealing your depest thoughts & wishes. Things or situations you never thought of before.

9. Which is braver? an hour or a year?
A year is braver than an hour because there more event occur in one year. If you risk one hour, you won't hav the opportunity to loose as much as you could in a year. If you pick one hour and assume something will go wrong, the probability would be lower if you picked a year, the probability would be much higher.

10. Which has more pride? an entrance or an exit?
An exit has more pride because it takes more courage and strenght. Pride is a feeling of self-respect , personal worth, and a sense of satisfaction with one's own desisions.
